Hello all,
When migrating a VM to another remote cluster it would be nice to have a check box or some kind of option to have that VM get its VMID changed to a VMID from the target cluster VMID range.
Reason for this is that if we have shared storage and we move a VM from one cluster to another then there could be a case where the same VMID is created on the Source cluster after the migration.
Currently we have to change the VMID manually and keep track of VMIDs which is a pain.
Allowing the option to selected as a checkbox in the remote migration windows or better yet have a way to select or set it that this a default behavior would be a massive feature.
thanks
