Feature request about backup.

Actually it would be great feature if Proxmox could warn when scheduled backup was not succeed. When there are many HNs, it takes time to check all daily backups. Sometimes backups may fail / stuck and may not send failed backup email till a restart.

if a backup is failed, you will see the log and also the email.

the problems are running/hanging backups - there is no reliable way to detect if a backup is still running normally or not.

You are right. Maybe I can write a smtp listener/watcher and look for certain strings in daily email or even mail existence and if can not find and send warning email.

The only time I have seen the backup process hang was because the snapshot ran out of space.
