fast backup for lxc container, like dirty bitmap for VM disks

Hi
I just wonder if there is any possibility to create backups of lxc container mounts similar fast as for VM disks using ditry bitmaps?
I moved my nextcloud instance with several 100GBs out of a VM to an lxc and then realized doing the backup on my pbs it takes much much longer as always the whole filessystem is rescaned.
Maybe a specific underlying storage type is required or something else does the trick??

PBS uses the dirty bitmapping that comes with QEMU vitual disks. So it only works with VMs. There is no alternative for LXCs yet.
