Good morning everyone.
This is another technical question.
I have a 6 TB ZFS storage pool.
And I have several backups there.
I have a daily pruning routine at 8:00 PM and a daily Garbage Collection at 11:40 PM scheduled.
My Proxmox backup routines are scheduled to start at 6:00 PM every day.
And it was working fine.
However, my ZFS pool is filling up.
I notice that Garbage Collection is running but isn't freeing up space, so it keeps filling up the ZFS pool.
There's approximately 2 TB of pending space.
What could this be, and how can I adjust it so I can perform proper daily cleanup to prevent my pool from filling up further?
I created a 32 GB reserve in the ZFS pool to prevent it from completely filling up.
I'm not using quotas.
Do you have any suggestions or best practices for adjusting these routines and cleanings?
