Hi Team,

I am looking to setup the following setup and was looking for some advice please.

2 sites A and B.

A will have 1 server running proxmox and a storage ie synology ds412 or something like.Site B will have the same. They are connected via a permanent VPN. Site A will be primary and site B will be failover. Can anyone suggest a opensource storage that will allo this setup please?

Any assistance is welcome.

Your storage is on NFS or iSCSI?

If it is iSCSI, DRBD will (technically) work, yet it will not be very fast, rather terribly slow. You could use ZFS with pve-zsync to synchronize both servers.
