External Hard Drives Included in Backups Despite Being Excluded

I passed two external hard drives to an OMV VM with the following commands:

/sbin/qm set 100 -scsi2 /dev/disk/by-id/ID

And i excluded the disks from backups:



However the backup job failed with the following in the log:

When I navigate to Job Details I can see that all of the disks are included in the backup job:



Am I missing something here?

This is resolved
It appears that you may need to restart the VM in order for the backup=0 to apply under VM > Hardware
