Hello everyone,

I installed Proxmox last year on a Ugreen DXP 4800 Pro with 2 NVME SSD WD SN700 (of different sizes, I got what I could grab), I used the ext4 filesystem.
I kept my Proxmox install as basic as possible, I only added a NUT server.

My data (on 4 Toshiba HDDs) is managed by a Truenas VM.
I do backups on a PBS VM installed on a Synology NAS.

So far my experience have been smooth.
Until today when pve crashed with this error, I could not login remotely or use commands directly on the NAS.
I had to unplug the device to be able to reboot in my Proxmox USB key.

Apparently a problem occurred on pve-swap.I checked the SMART data after a long check, no errors were found.

So I tried to reboot as normal and the system booted up fine, no more errors ?!

Thank you for reading.

I looked around and found a thread about IO error on swap device.
https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/p...ad-error-on-swap-device-ext4-fs-error.181724/

I kept checking the NVMEs but couldn't find anything more than a warning about "using unchecked data buffer".
Code:

I am not quite sure where to dig.

apparently unchecked data buffer is not to worry about.
