I have an existing raid 10 array on a freenas box that I would like to put in my proxmox box. I put in two drives for testing that were zfs already but not striped and mirrored. Just shutdown the proxmox box, put in the drive, start proxmox, and then zpool import. Simple.

Now I want to bring in the raid 10 from freenas. My only concern is the raid pool was created on /dev/sda /dev/sdb and /dev/sdc /dev/sdd. When I go to import the pool, will zpool see open /dev drives and go ahead and import or will it need to be on original /dev drives?

It may be more of a zfs question than proxmox, i dunno.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any tips, and or advice.
