G gardar Renowned Member May 21, 2014 29 2 68 Oct 1, 2015 #5 I did try esxi as a vm in proxmox 3.4 and I'm afraid there are some kernel modules missing from the PVE 3.4 kernel. I have yet to try if the kernel in proxmox 4 has the required modules.
