Error Upgrading from 1.7 -> 2.0

I was doing an upgrade as per the upgrade docs and all was going well untill the following error came up and the install stopped:

Any ideas???

as I have been unable to wait for a reply I have downloaded the vmserver version and installed this.

It is now running however it is now complaining about the MAC address being incorrect what do I need to do about this problem???

errors during install - see /var/log/update.log for details

Please try to run the upgrade skript again. It it still not work please send us the file /var/log/updated.log (to support@proxmox.com).

Hi Ozzie,
If you decide to go with this new installation, just request a new license key.
please email to support@proxmox.com, sending the new MAC address (you have 3 days time to upload the new license key)

I did try to run it again and it failed at the same point.

Did you manually (dpkg) removed the fetchmail package, or installed some other packages before?

No, I upgraded to 1.7 then aplied the 1.7 hotfix but this was some time ago and has work without any problems.

Yes I am going to stay with the VM version as this seems to work faster but then it is now on a higher spec, dedicated vm server. I will email support today.
