Error line 570 when installing with proxmox 1.6 boot cd

Hi guys,

i got this message : "unable to create data volume at /usr/bin/proxinstall line 570" when i tried to installing proxmox 1.6 VE in my HP DL180 G6 servers with RAID 5 configuration n set my HD to compatible in ROM BIOS...
any clue about what's going on?

How big is you RAID5 (need to be smaller than 2TB (MBR limit))?

my RAID 5 is configured into 2.7 TB, yes there is a message to press alt+F2 but when i press alt+F2 nothing happen

You need to make that smaller (<= 2TB). The standard BIOS MBR is limited to 2TB.

is that any way to get into proxmox without sacrificing my 700GB?

how about if i installed it in debian lenny and upgrade the proxmox kernel?
