Good morning.

I try to install PROXMOX 7, on an HP PROLIANT DL360 GEN5 server, however I get the error "modprobe error could not insert 'intel_rng' no such device", I have a 1+0 array with 4 140Gb disks, delete the array and it doesn't start the installer either, it's an e200i smart array controller. Could you please support me.

After the error, the screen stays like this and does nothing anymore.

With the CPU's released 15 years ago it's quite the old timer.

The rng module load error is probably a red herring, the BIOS errors OTOH might indicate something - has this host the latest firmware update applied?

You might also want to check the other tty2 and tty3 (via CTRL + ALT + F2 and F3, respectively) to check if there are more telling errors displayed.

If you got the time and will you could try to test older ISOs to see if this is a long standing error or if it got introduced only in some newer (major) release:
http://download.proxmox.com/iso/

For getting an up-to-date system now I'd recommend going for the "install on top of plain Debian" route:

perform tests with 2 previous versions 5 and 6, and it works correctly, is there any way to upgrade from version 6.4 to 7.3???
