Hi,

I'm having trouble with a new setup.
I have setup the ZFS pool manually as there a parameters outside of the GUI I wanted to set, mounted the pool and make sure the owner is backup:backup.

However everytime I run the backup regardless of VM or backup job I get the same error.
"backup register image failed: command error: inserting chunk on store 'backup-pool' failed for"

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,
well there is no .chunks folder located in the datastores backing path, therefore the error. So how did you create the datastore to begin with? Note that during datastore creation, the required folder structure is created, which you are missing. So I would advice to remove the datastore once again (it is empty anyways) and recreate it, best via the WebUI.
