Error FTP : modprobe capabilities

When I want start pure-ftpd, in syslog i have :

Aug 29 18:06:56 server pure-ftpd: (?@?) [ERROR] Unable to switch capabilities : Operation not permitted

But when i execute : modprobe capabilities

I have :

FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.24.7-proxmox/modules.dep: No such file or directory

Help me please
