Dear Community,

First of all best wishes for the new year to all!

I am currently testing Proxmox 7.1-8 after having run proxmox 5.45 for w while, but am encountering singnificant errors with my VMS, which fail to start after a couple of minutes after the new install of proxmox.

The VM do not start, erro message in GUI is:
Code:
command '/usr/bin/kvm --version' failed: got signal 11
TASK ERROR: Detected old QEMU binary ('unknown', at least 3.0 is required)

Proxmox latest version fully update and upgraded.

Code:
root@pve:~# kvm -version
Segmentation fault

I have not found much in the forum - woudl someone have an idea where to look for? I already did a full reinstall but gor the same issues again.

Please provide us with one of your VM config qm config <VMID> also please post the output of the following commands:

Bash:
