I'm trying to access the serial console of a vm using python scripts.
I'm using the requests library for the rest part and trying to use websockets library to interact with websocket.
After I get a valid ticket using the /api2/json/nodes/pve/qemu/100/termproxy call to get a valid ticket, I tried to connect to the websocket using the following url:
wss://pve:8006/api2/json/nodes/pve/qemu/100/vncwebsocket
using the cookie header with cookie used before, ticket and port returned by prior call. Instead of opening the websocket connection, this call seems to return an 501 error.
Where can I check this error? is there any check I could make to make sure it works?
