Hello guys,

I'm running Proxmox to virtualize Windows Server 2012. It has been working perfectly for a few days but this morning, after a restart, I got the error . The error is displayed during a few ms and then the server restarts .. again and again .. :(

I tried to fix this by changing the CPU to Nehalem, Haswell, ... but nothing worked :( I also disabled KVM, but it doesn't work neither.

Can anyone help me ?

Thanks

Adrien

looks ok (some missing updates).

do you have some custom VM settings?
post your VM settings:

> qm config VMID

did you tried to poweroff and start again?

Yes I tried to poweroff et start it again (multiple times :( )

These are the settings for my VM
bootdisk: sata0cores: 3
cpu: Nehalem
ide2: none,media=cdrom
memory: 12288
name: WindowsServer
net0: e1000=32:3C:3F:4D:EB:8C,bridge=vmbr1
ostype: win8
sata0: local:100/vm-100-disk-1.qcow2,format=qcow2,size=1780G
sockets: 1

Thanks :)

what physical hardware do you have? check if there is a bios update for your mainboard.

I have a server at Kimsufi (OVH) which is the KS-5A with this specs :
CPU: Core i7-920
Cores/Threads: 4c/8t
Freq: 2.66GHz+
Ram: 16GB
Disk: 2TM
Network 100 Mbps
Link : http://www.kimsufi.com/uk/

So I think my server is ok for that. I'll try to reinstall Windows Server 2012 and see if it happens again ...

Thanks for your help.

So, I update Proxmox to the latest version, then I reinstalled my Win Server and everything is working.

Thank you for your help.
