[SOLVED] Enable vmbridge how?

One of my bridges is stated as not active - how do I change that?
Oh hold on... I am using that IP to access the web gui - ehhh what does this mean?

Can you post the content of `/etc/network/interfaces`? Redact parts is necessary.

I restared the server today so now the bridge is active.

If you created the bridge since the last restart it's the expected behavior. From the Manual:

Proxmox VE does not write changes directly to /etc/network/interfaces. Instead, we write into a temporary file called /etc/network/interfaces.new, and commit those changes when you reboot the node.
