Hi,
Total novice learning OPNsense 23.7.10-1 on a Proxmox VM. The VM is allocated 4 GB of RAM.
Following OPNsense installation guide Initial Configuration , I configured /var/log and /tmp to use RAM (screenshot 1). I have also edited /etc/fstab to add option rw,noatime to the /dev/gpt/rootfs
Then I reboot, expecting the amount of free memory to be less than before the RAM disk option was enabled. Surprisingly, there is now more free memory (was 2541M, now 3509M). What is the reason?
