Enable CEPHX on running cluster

We are running a Proxmox cluster with CEPH working fine for MPs for CTs. We want now mount CEPH into VMS and hosts that re external to Proxmox but unfortunately CEPHX is disabled so there is no auth and any host can mount CEPH. For this reason I would like to eable Cephx by following this guide:

My questions are:

- Is this a safe operation with no impact to CEPH (CT MPs especially)?
- Do I need restart CTs/VM or even the Proxmox/CEPH cluster?
- Are there any specific guides for CEPH on Proxmox that I should follow?

Good question. My colleague thought we would not need to use it....so we did not set it up.
