Today I updated my PVE cluster, including a kernel update from 5.11.X to 5.13.X. Afterwards, my SAN which is connected via fiberchannel no longer showed up as a block device. I couldn't find any changelog regarding driver support or anything.
The devices still show up under /sys/class/fc_host[0-9]+/, but no block device is recognized. No errors are shown in dmesg, and the only messages are about the ports being "ready". The lpfc module is loaded, so that shouldn't be an issue.
A downgrade / manual selection of kernel 5.11.X in grub "fixed" the issue. Are there any known issues with drivers or any info about this?
