e1000 and igb driver update

I had installed 1.9 yesterday on some nodes and noticed that the e1000 and igb drivers were out of date and I had to search the forums and compile them from scratch. Will these updates be included in the next pmox update?

Please, be aware. The latest releases of e1000e intel drivers (1.6.2 branch) have some stability issues, related to some bugs with PCI-E burst implementation.

I see no info/bug report on your link about our used version (e1000e - 1.6.3-NAPI)

also, you wrote you are using 1.6.2.

Yes, you are right. I have not tested 1.6.3 yet. But I'm not sure that they have fixed this bug.

First, please build a functional kernel with this driver. Else what shell I test? 2.6.32-50 does not fit even for testing, it's too buggy.

a bug is reproduce able issue. so far I cannot see this here. fyi, I personally updated ten´s of boxes with this kernel, no issue here. so we wait for details.
