during backup unable to access VM

Is this an expected behavior of PBS?

unable to access vm services when backup job started. Looking at the GUI it said status running Config locked (backup)

Hi,
is there high load on the host during this time? You might want to try setting a bandwidth limit and/or reduce the amount of workers in the Advanced tab when editing the backup job. Or you could try enabling fleecing there.

Can you access the VM again after the backup?

Thank you for your reply. I would check next time if there is any load. I can access the VM after awhile ... i think when it was doing snapshotting i am unable to access.
