Drupal Issue

Hey everyone,

I'm sorry if this is the dumbest post ever... I just installed Drupal from the template, and I can't find the sites folder. Does anyone know the path to it. I want to install a new theme and apply some security patches, and I'm stuck.


I can log in using filezilla and when I navigate to var/www there is nothing in that folder other than index.html.


I found a sites folder in /etc/drupal/6/sites but the only thing in there is a folder called default, but there is nothing there either.



Is anyone out there using Drupal on OpenVZ that can point me in the right direction? Thanks so much for your help!

we are using the default Debian packages.
see http://packages.debian.org/lenny/drupal6

run apt-get update and apt-get upgrade to get the latest version from the Debian maintainer. If you want to dig deeper, see the readme file inside the Drupal package.
