I've got a problem with Q35 on ubuntu-server passing through my GPU.
Any idea what this is about?

Edit: Originally asked about switching from i440fx to q35 but the problem is q35 and passthrough alltogether...

^ Same problem here - what Processor / iGPU are you using ? I wrote something which worked for me here in the forum, but i am unsatisfied with it.

I have an Intel 8th GEN CPU with UHD 630

Same with both Intel 6500T and 7500T. Dunno how to make it work. Reason for wanting to run Q35 for me is to properly passthrough PCIe and not lock up unused RAM in one VM.

i ended up using this tutorial and changed everything to gvt-g: https://3os.org/infrastructure/proxmox/gpu-passthrough/igpu-split-passthrough/

For Windows Guest I had to use SeaBIOS & pc-i440fx v8.0 + Virtio Drivers. - For Ubuntu 23.04 Seabios and Q35 chipset v8.0
