Hi. We are planning transfer our internal resources in our company from VMWare to Proxmox(with subscription). Now we are testing your product and we have one problem: Servers was configured for VMware infrastructure without local disks. But i found solution - iSCSI boot. How i can integrate drivers in your iso build for detemining this device (iscsi virtual disk) at installation stage (select installation array)? We have these hardware:
FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY RX200 S7 - drivers for Intel® Ethernet Controller I350,
PXE-Boot via LAN from PXE server, iSCSI boot (also diskless).
FUJITSU Blade Server PRIMERGY BX924 S3 - drivers for Emulex BladeEngine® 3 (BE3), FCoE and iSCSI boot in CNA mode.
Buy new disks for this hardware - unacceptable option.
I have one solution - install Debian and install Proxmox kernel over Debian kernel, but i want have more correct solution.
I tested this solution(iSCSI boot) with VMware, Microsoft, RedHat.

Our setup have similar like yours, but we using CEPH RBD for store disk images instead of iSCSI.

Our server have a small SD card, what store /boot (with grub and kernel, but for iscsi this is not necessary), and it attach rbd image as root device. Everything are transparent from Proxmox.

What size of yours CD cards?

One problem, Debian can't see this LUN correct. But RHEL installer saw this LUN native and can install on. Anybody have idea? Debian said - missing firmware files are: iscsi/iscsi_firmware.bin. Maybe use other iso installer?
