Hi. We are planning transfer our internal resources in our company from VMWare to Proxmox(with subscription). Now we are testing your product and we have one problem: Servers was configured for VMware infrastructure without local disks. But i found solution - iSCSI boot. How i can integrate drivers in your iso build for detemining this device (iscsi virtual disk) at installation stage (select installation array)? We have these hardware:
FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY RX200 S7 - drivers for Intel® Ethernet Controller I350,
PXE-Boot via LAN from PXE server, iSCSI boot (also diskless).
FUJITSU Blade Server PRIMERGY BX924 S3 - drivers for Emulex BladeEngine® 3 (BE3), FCoE and iSCSI boot in CNA mode.
Buy new disks for this hardware - unacceptable option.
I have one solution - install Debian and install Proxmox kernel over Debian kernel, but i want have more correct solution.
I tested this solution(iSCSI boot) with VMware, Microsoft, RedHat.
