Drive problem? Motherboard problem?

I’m seeing this in dmesg output…

but smartctl says nothing is reporting errors for any of the 5 drives in the system. I’m stumped,
 
If a long self-test of the drive (smartctl -t long /dev/disk/by-id/... ) does not report errors once finished after some time, then maybe it's the cable or the controller (on either side). Try a different cable and a different SATA port and a different SATA controller to test.
