Hi is there a way to stop API from deleting vms via command line ?

Why would you want to have that - that's precisely, what an API is for. I reckon, that everbody who accesses the API is knowing what he or she is doing!

Every other function is Good but I want to delete vms manually.

Well, you can do that of course and you can lock guests from being altered, that should also prevent them from being carelessly or accidentially via the API, so I'd think, that there isn't a problem with that function.

yes, I wanted it so that I or another team member won't delete carelessly or accidentally.

I do not know how to do that yet.

You can set this under VMID -> Options -> Protection. Or use the API to set that.

The GUI also uses the API, so removing delete from the API will remove the deletion of VMs in general.
