Does proxmox's kernel have support for Epyc Rome? (7002)

If not how long does it usually take for proxmox to support next generation cpus?
 
We are running EYPC 7551 in our cluster with 3 nodes, dual socket, 20TB nvme each node. Works great so far, but it only new!

@risho asked about compatibility with the second gen EPYC cpus, the 7002 series.
We too have a cluster of 3 nodes with EPYC1 and runs perfectly fine (2x HP 325G10, 1x HP 385 G10).
As i see it, the support for EPYC second gen specific features started to be included in the kernel in versions 4.19, 4.21 so Proxmox 6 with the 5 series kernel should be fine but it might not have some advanced tweaks.
 
and my understanding is that proxmox tends to use an ubuntu based kernel? Does that mean that the kernel will upgrade when 19.10 comes out? My understanding is that there have been serious improvements to 7002 even in the latest unreleased kernel.
 
oh I wasn't sure if 7002 was newer... anyway, we are running proxmox 6 as well and its fine, aside from corosync issues
