There is no such thing as an official Hardware compability list. Proxmox VE is based on Debian stable distribution plus Ubuntu Kernel, so if hardware works with Debian or Ubuntu it will most likely work with ProxmoxVE too.
There are companys like Thomas Krenn who offers prebuilt servers for PVE if you want an garantee that everything works.
