[SOLVED] Does Proxmox 5.x support LXC ephemeral ?

Simply clone an existing container, and destroy it when no longer required?

The advantage is that ephemeral containers use an overlay system, they are much lighter than conventional containers. It would be nice...
However, clone and destroy do the trick.

Why do you think an extra overlays file system is lighter than native thin clone support? I doubt this is always the case. But yes, there are differences.

I was thinking creating from a template (in this case the gain is very clear with ephemeral). Cloning would be better ?
