Do file-recovery from backup

Hi,

Is there any way to do a file-only recovery from a backup? Is there a command or application that will let you browse the .vma-file?
I can't seem to find any information about this.

I guess I can unpack the backup and mount the RAW-file and retrieve the files that way but it seems a bit too cumbersome.
Are there any other alternatives out there?

there is no such functionality. if you need this regularly, you should consider using a full featured backup tool instead.
