It comes from ceph-volume.
Code:
Jul 25 09:07:22 ceph3 sh[1177]: Running command: /usr/sbin/ceph-volume simple trigger 12-dadf1750-4f14-4248-bd7b-054112ccc3cb
Jul 25 09:07:23 ceph3 kernel: No source specified
Jul 25 09:07:23 ceph3 kernel: fuse: Bad value for 'source'
Maybe it has something to do with this patch:
https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/10874319/

Any updates on this? I have one node out of 10 that does this at boot. The rest of the logs are clear on the other nodes.

Code:
[Mon Aug 24 12:10:20 2020] fuse: init (API version 7.31)
[Mon Aug 24 12:10:20 2020] *** VALIDATE fuse ***
[Mon Aug 24 12:10:20 2020] *** VALIDATE fuse ***

[Mon Aug 24 12:10:27 2020] fuse: Bad value for 'source'

Well...
After updating our cluster we get the same message here. It does not seem to do any harm, but its quite annoying.

The messages stopped popping up after ceph got to the "health ok" status after rebooting one host.
It would be nice to know whats up here...

I have had an issue with this as well for some time. It seems harmless, but quite annoying.
Code:

Happens until all ceph volumes come online for me. Usually occurs for about 150-180 seconds after power up/reboot. Here are my current package versions:
