Hello!
I tried looking for this issue here and elsewhere so if there is a thread on this topic already I apologize for duplicating it here.
My trouble is while trying to upgrade from 7.4-18 to 8.x the normal dist-upgrade is not working. Specifically it is just dropping back to the prompt with no errors, but also not upgrading.
This is the output of my dist-upgrade:
root@pve1:~# apt dist-upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
Calculating upgrade... Done
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
root@pve1:~#
All packages are fully updated/upgraded and the PVE7to8 command shows some warnings for a local storage pool that missing due to a drive stack that died, but it was just an ISO/VM image store for me so it shouldn't matter, and no other issues.
I'm likely missing something foolish, but any help would be very much appreciated.
