how much space does just the install need ?
I plan to install it on a SATA 2GB Flashdrive ...
My Raid 10 will be only for vm's

the iso installer will fail here, also you will have no swap - so you need enough RAM.

the only change is doing a manual install, but i recommend you go for a SSD (e.g. 64 gb samsung sata) instead of a 2GB sata flash.
