Diskless Servers

Let's say i want to use diskless servers (no SSD, no local hard disk)
Can i install proxmox ve 2.1 on servers in a boot from san scenario ?
Is it supported ?

there are few bits in the forum about PXE booting - although i've not tried it it.

You could always look at USB storage if your server supports it.

Did you ever figure this out? I have the same goal of using diskless hosts. My VM storage is going to be within Ceph.

No. Ended out with ssd as boot device.
