Hi there,

Could someone explain me what i read here (I'm new in this, please forgive me ...) :

/dev/sdk is a SSD m.2 128 Gb stick on which I installed proxmox

And the LVM is showed very full ...

I don't think I have anything else than proxmox on this volume, how can I investigate that, and correct (128 Gb should be plenty enough for this no ?)

I also have this LVM-Thin volume, at 100%, how can I know what's in there ?

Thanks

  swap pve -wi-ao---- 16.00g

  vm-101-disk-0 pve Vwi-a-tz-- 16.00g data 15.87

No problem for me, all your data is allocated at your VM 100. If you initialize all the virtual disk, it's legit that's thin pool calling you he's full

Ok, thanks, but I think I don't get it with physical/LVM/LVM-Thin story, am I right here ?

The physical /dev/sdk (128Gb) is parted in 3 :

"pve" is a logical volume using the whole partition /dev/sdk3, in which I have
  • "root", "swap" and "data" from OS and proxmox, "data" being LVM-thin with is in fact full, because it's the purpose of LVM-Thin
  • VM-100 (128Gb)
  • VM-101 (16Gb)
That's too much for 128Gb ... no ?

Sorry, I'll need some more explanations.

So my VM100 (TrueNAS) is using a 128 Gb SSD partion for OS, called VM_1, formatted LVM-Thin

The volume VM_1 is displayed as full with 51.46 Gb

Question 1 : as LVM-Thin, VM_1 should automatically expand when needed, up to 128Gb, right ?
Question 2 : the VM (TrueNAS) does not boot, but that is not due to VM_1 been full, right ?

Thanks
