Disk remove confirmation

Hello Team,

I'd like to suggest adding "disk remove confirmation" from Storage to the Web-interface. Now occasionally removing disk is possible.

Disks can be remove without any confirmation - but this removes the disk only from the VM configuration but the disk is still here as "unused".
So you add it again via add hardware if you decide to use it again.

If you want to remove the disks physically, just remove the unused disks, then the data is removed.

Yes, you this is so, but. just imagine:
I have two drives on VM. I just removed one of them and is going to remove another one. But unexpectedly I removed not another one but previous one again and it was totally removed from the physical host without any confirmation.

I do not get your example. we already have a two step removal and we will not change this for 1.x series. But I will see if we can get a better warning message in the 2.0 interface,

I'd try to explain using screen-shots:

1. Machine has two disks:


2. I removed first one


3. I was going to remove second one but I was wrong and removed the same again instead of another one (there was no any messages like: "this action will totally remove virtual disk from the server, are you sure?")


4. I totally lost my first virtual disk

A possible solution might be as simple as aligning the drop-down menu on the opposite side of the row.
If that's the case, is it something mere mortals can edit in an html file somewhere?
