Disk passthrough and snapshots

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way keep snapshots enable with a passthrough disk? I do not want the passthrough disk to have a snapshot, but I would want the qcow disk (OS) to. I attempted to map the passthrough disk with the snapshot=0 option, but seems the snapshot utility ignores it and will not let me do the snap.

Cloning has an issue as well. I hope there is an option to ignore RDM/Passthrough disks for snapshots, backups, and cloning.

I think this is the only thing holding us back from adopting Proxmox as our VMWare replacement.
