Good morning, I just had a blackout and my proxmox server won't restart. I've tried to follow directions from other forum posts, but I can't seem to figure it out and I'm afraid of deleting my data on my server.
I have one mmvdisk of 1 To and one SSD of 1 To
I got an error message on startup:
error: disk 'lvmid/TFviuF-......-KBs3HC' not found grub rescue>
1. I boot on the usb key of proxmox installation
2. proxmox rescue boot return :
error: no syuch device :rpool ERROR: unable to find boot disk automatically. Press nany key to continue...
3. I run grub rescue mode
4. ls returns:
(hd0) (hd1)(hd1, gpt3 )(hd1, gpt2) (hd1, gpt1) (hd2) (hd2, gpt3) (hd2, gpt2) (hd1, gpt1)
5. set returns :
cmdpath(hd0)efi/proxmox prefix=(lvmid/TFviuF-.....-KBs3HC.)/boot/grub root=lvmid/TFviuF-......-KBs3HC

I need help, I don't know what to do without damaging my data!

You probably hit this bug https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=987008
https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/system-unbootable-grub-error-disk-lvmid-not-found.98761/
I've ran into this recently and just doing lvresize by a small amount allowed me to bypass the error.
