Disk Fail - how to know this

Hello
i have Proxmox - the node with 4 Disk as ZFS!
I do remove a disk (or a disk go bad)

how do i know it?
The Proxmox Dashboard show no error, only digging down to the Disk - there ZFS poll i have this information. At the DISK Place itself - the failed Disk is just away!
The node it self is still ok because of the raidz2

did i miss config something or is there just no information?

There is a section in the ZFS part of the documentation on how to get email notifications: https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/pve-admin-guide.html#_activate_e_mail_notification

In a more realistic scenario, the disk will most likely report bad SMART values before failing. If Proxmox VE detects bad smart values on a disk it will send an email by default.

@aaron thanks for your link.
so nothing in the GUI to see!
would be nice if the information would be on the bootem of GUI where the Infos are about Backup and that information!

will i get also a email when a new Disk is replaced?

@aaron so on my new installation it is allready uncomment the ZED_EMAIL_ADDR setting: ZED_EMAIL_ADDR="root"
but on the GUI Node side i not find where to add/change a email adress

You can go to Datacenter -> Users. If you edit the root user you can change the email address.
