Proxmox is reporting inconsistency in the file system and the screen is stuck after system startup.

Image 1 - selecting recovery mode.
Image 2 - the terminal does not execute any command typed.

step 1- verify that your boot device is good. you can do so by booting from a livecd and performing smart test and fsck.
step 2- verify that you can boot in single user mode: https://www.linuxtechi.com/boot-debian-rescue-emergency-mode/
step 3- depending on what happened in the above steps, you can now either boot, gain access to your proxmox file system(s), or not.
step 4a- if you booted properly- congratulations. now you need to figure out why it got corrupted in the first place- power outage? bad ram?
step 4b- if you are able to access your proxmox file systems, back up the stuff you need and reinstall
step 4b- if you arent able to gain access/bad disk, time to cut your losses. replace the disk and start over.
