Disk boot backup

There is a small server in a remote office where I am never there and there is no technician to assist me.
Proxmox boot is on an 120GB SSD and I cannot manage mirroring of this disk.
If the boot SSD fails, I have to quickly replace it with another SSD to keep downtime to a minimum.

As a newbie, I hypothesize two solutions:
1) I do a remote backup every night of the configuration files.
If the boot fails, I install Proxmox on a new SSD, copy the configuration files and bring the new SSD to the office to install it.

2) Every night I clone the SSD to a second external SSD connected to an esata port.
In case of failure I go to that office and I already find an SSD ready for replacement.

I don't know if there is a third more efficient solution.

Hi,

Why do you do not use ZFS mirror(Raid1)?
