When you are setting BIOS to UEFI and the wizard prompts you to create an EFI disk, do NOT check "Pre-enroll keys", since that uses MS's CA keys that only work for Windows
Honestly that toggle needs a different label. From what I have Googled those keys are for Windows/Windows Server only, and not Linux Secureboot (Similar to HyperV where you have two SecureBoot key options, one for Windows and one for everything else, ie signed Linux distros).I found myself here from google, and your reply was exactly what I needed.
