I want to use my own IPTables rules. How do I disable the Proxmox firewall so it doesn't interfere with my rules?
The cli command "pve-firewall stop" works until I restart my server.

Hello,

Sorry to raise dust from such an old thread.. Found it via google, so thought to expand the same question a bit: can we ignore the Firewall enabled = yes in the proxmox hosts configuration of the firewall, e.g. Datacenter/ClusterNode1/Firewall/Options and Datacenter/ClusterNode2/Firewall/Options ? Now Datacenter is OFF, but hosts have it ON...

Purpise is to have the firewall OFF because I am setting up Shorewall on cluster node 1 which is the gateway.
