Hello,
Today I got an email from my server provider that I had an exposed service called portmapper on my server.
I only have proxmox installed, and, at the momento, a single VM running.
What is this portmapper used for on proxmox?
According to the tutorial provided by the provider, I can uninstall rpcbind, should I? Is it needed for proxmox to function? It's my first time ever using proxmox.
The tutorial I was provided: https://www.bsi.bund.de/EN/Themen/U...r-Dienste/Offene-Portmapper-Dienste_node.html
Other alternative is blocking the ports on the firewall, are they used by proxmox? Can I close them?
Thank you
