Disable server shutdown/restart from the web interface

entered 'poweroff' into the shell on the one that is of course 30 miles away.
Mixing up consoles happens to all of us - but not always so far away.

Then I learned to install molly-guard on all of my systems. This does not help for the Gui though...

thanks. that looks nice. why doesn't the linux kernel just have that built in?

I agree that it should be different. It happened to me twice already.
For the Nodes shutdown it should ask a double-triple question to confirm, similar to the way it is in ESX or Windows Servers.
clicking once does not shutdown anything - you will get a second question if you really want do shutdown the node.

restart of a node is an important functionality, so this cannot be disabled.

As for the web interface, if the Proxmox Team doesn't want to introduce another confirmation step, what about locating the confirmation window differently when the confirmation is regarding a node as when the confirmation is regarding an LXC or a VM? E.g. for the node in the top right while the rest remains in the center or vice versa? This would introduce a visual differentiation for the users while remaining very little change for the proxmox team...?
