Disable promisc mode for a VM interface

Hello,
Proxmox by default creates a TAP Interface for each VM interface, and this TAP have promisc mode on. There is any way to forbid promisc mode on VM Interfaces like in VMware?

Seems like there is a know issue with duplicate packets when a VM has multiple promisc mode nic's attached and run VRRP.

Hi,

there is not building way but you could disable it manual with "ip link set tap<VMID>i<NIC NO> promisc off"
This can be done automatically with the start/stop hook scripts.
