Disable live migration for a dedicated VM

Hello,

technically it makes no sense to remove the live migration ability, but the M$ licensing rules for the SQL server deny to run a system in a cluster that has this option (if you have not an SA license). I tried to use a dedicated storage, attached only to one host. But Proxmox is too smart and offers a storage live migration in a first step.
Has someone already tried another "migration blocker" - maybe a dedicated hardware dependency ? or is there a hidden option that can be used in the qm configuration file ?

thanks

Hi,
there is no out-of-the-box way, but yes, you could add a local PCI/USB or CD-ROM device as a workaround to make it non-migratable.
